This weekend I hope to have more photos up from the party afterward and some shots forwarded from the Edge. Also the audio of the team song from Buffalo Wild Wings. Championship Game Dog's v Connecticut
Nothing is easy for the Dog's this time around. Laurie's injury ways heavy on the team and all of us but we will prevail. Laurie may be able to make the game to watch which will be a huge lift to the team.

Live from Rochester
New information from the Black Dogs.
On Friday, March 27th there will be a very special event, the Breast Cancer
Awareness night at the Blue Cross Arena. At 3:45pm the Rochester Edge Over
30 team will play the Cape Cod Black Dogs at the Blue Cross arena before
American Hockey League Rochester Americans take on the Lake Erie Monsters.
The ice at the Blue Cross arena will be dyed pink in honor of this special
event. Even the officials are on board as they are wearing pink laces and pink and black stripes for our game.
Our own Denise Davis will be dropping the puck with Megan MacKenzie from the Rochester Edge at the Rochester American's game. Then the whole team will form a ribbon on the ice with the Edge during period's 1 and 2.

Cover it Live! New Technology
Good Evening everyone!
We will be blogging live from the Nationals every game the Black Dog's play starting on Friday at 8:15 AM. Someone will be writing a play by play for you with the blog being instantly updated. This is really cool and is being used by the large newpapers like the Globe etc. They used it for the NBA finals, we can even publish photos easily to the live window. It's going to be a blast.

It's over in Augusta 2-1 over The Newt's
The dog's are on their way home from a successful road trip to Augusta ME. In the last game this morning the Dog's triumphed on two breakaway goals by Cathy Silva to defeat the New England Travelling Selects 2-1 with Sue going the distance in goal. The Dog's outshot the Newt's 13-10. Seems like a close one. I joked with Sue and asked if Silva's goals were shorthanded. Close breakaway's.
In last nights 5-2 victory here are the stats:
Shots were 33-13 in favour of the Dog's.

Dog's win again 5-2
The Black Dog's played the Maine Mosquitos tonight and came away with a hard fought victory 5-2. Terry was solid in net in this one. They will play the same team in the consolation game tomorrow at 8:15 AM. Sue said they all played well and are looking forward to tomorrow's game and the next five weeks of practice. Look for tomorrow morning's update around 9:00 AM.
